On September 8, 2021, without any prior warning or consultation with industry, the WA Labor Government announced an end to native forest logging from 2024. This announcement left businesses, employees, and regional communities shocked and unsure of their future. More information can be found here.

We support and protect the industries that derive economic value and generate employment from WA’s native and plantation forest resources by providing strong advocacy on behalf of the industry, combined with timely and effective responses to critical incidents and events.
